NemoBiofuel is committed to fiscal responsibility so that we will be here to serve you for the long term. We have been involved in the WVO industry for years; therefore, we have an educated projection of what will be happening in the industry over the next several years.

Currently companies are jockeying to get a piece of the Waste Vegetable Oil produced in this country per year. Some of the industries larger companies are sporadically paying a select few companies an unregulated and variable amount for their WVO – using the money gleaned from charging smaller companies for collection. Most have only just recently begun to pay at all, after years of charging companies to pick up their WVO.

Until government regulation and more companies see the value of collecting and utilizing WVO, there will be wildly varying promises of higher payments to producers of WVO. Some companies offer to pay for pounds of oil which is measured off-site. BUT, savvy business people will realize that the prices paid to attract WVO contracts must be sustainable; because, as it nears the price of virgin oil, processing WVO for reuse will not be profitable. NemoBiofuel closely analyzes the numbers and offers the highest price possible while remaining solvent as a corporation.

What is WVO used for?

WVO has been reclaimed and refined for use in the United States and overseas for many years. Some of it is used to produce diesel fuel. Most of it in the US is used to make dog food.

NemoBiofuel uses WVO for heating oil, making it more affordable to heat your homes, your churches and businesses, and community buildings.

This in turn

  • eliminates carbon emissions
  • lowering our carbon footprint on the world
  • makes our nation less dependent on fossil fuel and imports of fuel
  • less susceptible to artificial and skyrocketing prices for heating fuel.
